Yoga Mat Cleaner

I finally received my order of essential oils after weeks or research and prepping (more on that later)! I cannot wait to keep you posted all about my journey and showing you the different ways essential oils can be used. Last night I was mixing up some concoctions for the house and I would love to share with you my yoga mat cleaner.
The active ingredients are Tea Tree oil and Lavender oil
Tea Tree oil is anti-fungal, antiviral, and antibacterial.
Lavender oil stimulates the immune system, is an antibiotic, and an antidepressant.
Add all of the ingredients to a 4oz spray bottle (preferably a dark colored glass bottle) and shake generally before use. Spray onto your mat and wipe with a rag. EASY!

  1. Man, THANK YOU for not going with an MLM company. A lot of my friends are into Young Living and doTerra, both of which make false claims about being certified and award-winning. A lot of the advice isn't very good (like putting straight peppermint oil on the skin) and so on. It's refreshing to see that you went with a supply company and did your own research. I can't wait to read what you came up with- I want to make the leap, as well. I tried homemade cleaning supplies once but the smell of vinegar makes me gag. This is my next new thing for the upcoming move.

  2. Wow! I am so interested about the type of oils company that you went with and would love to hear a little more about how you came to choose this particular company? I had heard from so many other people about using only one kind of oils or not and have found for myself and research that I have done that a few different companies have actually worked the best. I haven't tried "mountain rose herbs" but will definitely have to check this out!! Thank you for sharing!!

  3. I can't wait to hear about your research and everything! I'm super curious about EOs and want to try some stuff, but I also don't want to get pulled into an MLM. So basically I want to benefit from your labor :)
